I was so saddened to read the letters from two local residents last week. The Bible says lots of things. What about “love thy neighbor?” What about “don’t judge or you too will be judged?” Do these people eat pork or shellfish, cut their hair, wear blended fabrics and jewelry? (more…)

The article about the new pastor at First Congregational Church leaves me wondering what purpose it intends to serve? Granted, a pastor who happens to be female and lesbian is of some significance but the reporter focused more on the latter than who she is as a person and pastor. (more…)
