FIREFIGHTER PROMOTION. Bruce Township Fire Chief Robert Stankiewicz promoted Field Training Officer David Robinson to Sergeant at the Bruce Township Board of Trustees meeting June 21. Robinson is pinned by his son Kale Robinson during a ceremony at the meeting. Robinson helped four new hires get through the necessary training courses so they could be certified. “With his help and support, along with the rest of the department those four individuals passed successfully,” he said. “I believe more education means a better department and better community service.
