TROOP RECOGNIZED October 18, 2017 The Oakland Township Board of Trustees recognized Boy Scouts Troop 125 of Rochester Hills with a special proclamation for the troop’s 60th anniversary. Oakland Township Supervisor Mike Bailey, on the left, reads the proclamation to Matthew Wells, Tigran Terterian, and Michael Cichowski of the troop. Bailey said that the scouts were responsible for thousands of hours of community service, including several Eagle Scout projects. The troop has regularly participated in the annual Clean Scene in May. “For many years, your troop has supported us in picking up trash. That’s not an easy thing to do so I want to recognize that as one particular thing I am proud of,” Bailey said.
