SNOWY WOODS. The low January sun creates long shadows on this snowy trail at Stony Creek Metropark in Washington Township. Most of this snow was melted by 50-degree weather during the middle of last week only to be replaced with a fresh coat of snow when another arctic cold front brought temperatures down again by the weekend.
