Washington Township will pursue appointment to fill treasurer’s vacancy

BY JERRY FRAEYMAN Washington Township will be filling a vacancy on the Board of Trustees after the death of longtime treasurer Linda Verellen on Jan. 30. Verellen, 73, was the township’s treasurer for 28 years.
