Judith K. Essig (née Kreger), 82, formerly of Ray Township, passed away peacefully at her home in Redmond, Washington on Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was born on Sept. 15, 1942, in Mount Clemens, the daughter of the late Marvin and Charlotte Kreger.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 62 years, Thomas Essig; son, Matt Essig, and his wife, Megyn Essig of Kirkland, Wash.; daughter, Amy Essig, and her husband, Phil Capp of Kirkland, Wash.; four grandchildren, Bailey, Tyler, Avery and Stella; brothers, Harold Kreger and Paul Kreger; and sister, Betty Grader.
