A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 7:01 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Emily Campbell, Trustee; John Casadei, Trustee; Jeanne Langlois
ABSENT: Trustee; Jack Elder
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve the consent agenda as presented.
3. To enter into the private road access easement agreement between Oakland Township and Stephen and Michelle Osterling, as presented in the meeting packet, with the condition as stated in PEA Matt Hocking memorandum as item #2, page 2, that ‘The applicant will be required to construct the access drive relocation according to the alignment, cross-section and surface grading as shown on the attached site plan (sheet 1 of 2) and driveway site plan (sheet 2 of 2). The applicant shall coordinate with the Township Building Department to schedule construction observation during the installation of the new access drive in order to verify the alignment, cross-section and surface grading complies with the approved site plans.’
4. To award the bid for assessing services to the Assessment Administration Services LLC, as amended from the document received May 27, 2025; that changed paragraph 3, changing the general assignment from the Township Manager, to the Township Supervisor, Chief Assessing Officer of the Township, and authorize the Township Supervisor to sign.
5. To approve Resolution No. 25-09, a resolution authorizing the submittal of the West Nile Virus Fund Reimbursement request, and authorize the Township Supervisor and Clerk to sign.
6. to approve budget amendment 25-11 from the budget amendment memo dated May 27, 2025.
7. To receive and file the 2024 Oakland Township Fire Department Annual Report.
8. To appoint Marisa Kallie to the Safety Paths and Trails Committee, term to expire May 2028.
9. To adjourn the meeting at 8:07 PM.
