A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 7:01 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Emily Campbell, Trustee; John Casadei, Trustee; Jack Elder, Trustee; Jeanne Langlois,
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To remove consent agenda item #4, approval of March 11, 2025, regular meeting minutes, and place into pending business, item #1.
3. To approve the consent agenda as amended.
4. To approve the March 11, 2025, Regular minutes as amended.
5. To approve Resolution #25-05 supporting the submission of the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant Application TF25-0064 for Blue Heron Environmental Area Trails and Trailhead Development, to be matched by a financial commitment of $178,800, for a total project cost of $578,800, and authorize the Clerk to sign.
6. To approve the purchase of the Kubota LX2620, from Rosy Brothers Incorporated for a total purchase price of $34,370.23 from funds in the 2025 budget.
7. To approve the purchase of 5 sets of turnout gear from Macqueen Equipment per the attached quote in the board packet, in the sum of $20,600 from account 206.901.980.342.
8. To approve the Administrative Compliance Agreement between the Charter Township of Oakland and the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE), and authorize the Township Manager to sign it.
9. To approve the time off policy update as presented in the board packet for the Earned Sick Time bank.
10. To approve the attorney-client fee agreement as presented in the board packet and authorize the township manager to sign it.
11. To adjourn the meeting at 7:59 PM.
