A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 7:07 PM in the Township Hall, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI.
PRESENT: Robin Buxar, Supervisor; Dave Mabry, Clerk; John Giannangeli, Treasurer; Emily Campbell, Trustee; John Casadei, Trustee; Jack Elder, Trustee; Jeanne Langlois
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as amended, with the addition of 2025 Road Maintenance Program Updates and Recommendations, under pending business, as item number six.
2. To approve the consent agenda as presented.
3. To receive and file the 2024 audited financial statements as presented by Andrews Hopper Pavlik PLC.
4. To approve the Historic District Commission contract with Proline Painting, to paint and repair wood damage to the buildings at Cranberry Lake Farm, for the cost of $23,200, and authorize the Township Manager to sign the contract
5. To increase the Township Health Care Savings Plan (HCSP) contribution and cap from 2% to 3% for the 2025 plan year and authorize the Supervisor to execute all necessary documentation.
6. To table pending business item number four, direct the Township Manager to solicit two additional quotes for tasks number two and forward, to receive more information from PEA to explain further how they arrived at the numbers presented, and to direct PEA to complete task one per the June 9th, 2025, project P250917PR letter to the Board of Trustees.
7. To approve the purchase of a replacement emergency generator as specified by Total Energy Systems estimate #124289, in the amount of $17,953.
8. To continue using $76,500 for additional road maintenance work for the 2025 program year.
9. To adjourn the meeting at 8:21 PM.
