Joanne E. Reaume, 86, of Washington Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was born Nov. 2, 1938.
She is the beloved wife of Dr. James Reaume; loving mother of Martha, Timothy (Jennifer), Sarah (David) VanDeveer and the late Katherine; proud grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of three; dearest sister of the late Ed (the late Marilyn) Kish, Barbara Smith, the late Donna Baran and Teresa (Kenneth) Roof.
Joanne’s priorities in life were her faith, her family, her friends and her love of music. She was a member of the Village Singers, the Symphonia Choral and the SS John and Paul Church Choir. Joanne was an active member of SS. John and Paul serving as a lector and cantor and the Worship Commission.
A memorial gathering will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, July 3 at SS. John and Paul Church, 7777 28 Mile Road (west of Campground Road) until time of Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations are welcome to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
