THANKFUL DINER

Romeo resident Judy Homier had the pleasant surprise of an anonymous person paying her bill and her friend’s bill at the Four Corner Diner in Romeo on March 31. She said that day was miserable with an all-day rain. To make matters worse, she struggled opening the front door of the restaurant with one arm in a cast from a recent surgery and helping her friend into the restaurant who was using a walker. She said her spirits picked up when restaurant owner Marty Hutnick told her that someone had covered the bill. “It really turned out to be a nice day when someone paid the bill,” Homier said. “You really don’t see this going around much.” Homier said she hopes the generous person sees this picture and that they will know that she and her friend were thankful for the free lunch.
