Pres. Coenen called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Coenen, Clark, Barzyk, Boelke, Adair, Stirrett, and Shall. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Porter, Jeffery Bahorski, Stacy Sobotka, and Kevin Grand.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and Received: Treasurer’s Report and Code Enforcement Report for July, 2025; Written Reports from the Sewer and Water Commissioners the Street Administrator and the Treasurer; Verbal Reports from the Planning Commission Liaison/Park Commissioner, Water Commissioner and the Police Commissioner read aloud the Code Enforcement Report. Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 07/28/25 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $52,585.90 as presented. Unanimously approved: to allow the payroll department to pay the Police Officers from Richmond and Romeo for their Fair time on the 8/21/25 payroll, distribution will appear on the 8/25/25 Schedule of Bills; to approve the hiring of James Gawlowski as Police Detective Sergeant for the Armada Police Department effective August 11, 2025 at a minimum of 24 hours per week and $30.00 per hour, subject to the terms and conditions of an employment agreement approved by the Village Attorney and signed by the Village President and Clerk.
