TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF ROMEO SCHOOL DISTRICT,
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of Washington Township in the Romeo School District, and not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Township Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at www.mi.gov/vote and mailed to the Washington Township Clerk. Those who have a valid Michigan driver’s license or state ID may register to vote or update their voter registration online at www.mvic.sos.state.mi.us/registervoter .
The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, October 20, 2025. After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the Washington Township Clerk’s office, located at 57900 Van Dyke Rd. Washington Township., MI 48094 at the following times:
• Regular business hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday November 1st from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Election Day, Tuesday November 4th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Washington Township Romeo School District will be voting on the following:
Romeo Community Schools – School Improvement Bond Proposition
Shall the Romeo Community Schools, Counties of Macomb and Oakland, State of Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Sixty-Two Million Dollars ($62,000,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds, in one or more series, to pay the cost of the following projects to create a modern learning environment for students and for health, safety, security, energy conservation and other purposes:
• Remodeling, equipping, re-equipping, furnishing, re-furnishing
school buildings, athletic fields, playgrounds and other facilities;
• Erecting and completing additions to school buildings;
• Acquiring and installing instructional technology infrastructure and
equipment in school buildings and other facilities; and
• Preparing, developing and improving sites at school buildings, athletic
fields, playgrounds and other facilities and the purchase of school buses?
