To the Qualified Electors: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a SPECIAL ELECTION for ROMEO COMMUNITY SCHOOLS will be held in the Township of Armada, County of Macomb, State of Michigan on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the places of holding the Election in said township as indicated below. All precincts are handicap accessible.

Please note that “photo identification” requirement implemented per Michigan Election Law, requires voter’s appearing at polling locations to present picture identification, or sign an affidavit if they do not have picture identification with them. All precincts are handicap accessible in accordance with the provisions of “ADA”. The polls of said election will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m.
THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL WILL APEAR ON THE BALLOT:
SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT BOND PROPOSITION:
Shall the Romeo Community Schools, Counties of Macomb and Oakland, State of Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Sixty-Two Million Dollars ($62,000,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds, in one or more series, to pay the cost of the following projects to create a modern learning environment for students and for health, safety, security, energy conservation and other purposes:
• Remodeling, equipping, re-equipping, furnishing, re-furnishing school buildings, athletic fields,
Playgrounds and other facilities;
• Erecting and completing additions to school buildings;
• Acquiring and installing instructional technology infrastructure and equipment in school buildings
And other facilities; and
• Preparing, developing and improving sites at school buildings, athletic fields, playgrounds and other facilities and the purchase of school buses?

The Polls for said election will be open at 7:00 AM and remain open until 8:00 PM on Election Day. To verify registration status please call 586-784-5200 Ext. 16 or visit www.michigan.gov/vote. Early Voting is NOT available for the November 4, 2025 Special Election.
The Armada Township Clerk’s office will be open from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 for the purpose of issuing and receiving absentee voter ballots ONLY. Persons qualified to vote by absentee ballot in the Special Election may vote in person in the Clerk’s office up to 4:00 PM, November 3, 2025. Early Voting is NOT available for the November 4, 2025 Special Election.
