By reason of:
Washington Township Zoning Ordinance, Article 5.0 Site Standards, Section 5.1 Accessory Buildings and Structures, B. Accessory Buildings in residential districts, 4. Attached garages, b. In the R1-A, R1-B, R1-C and R1-D zoning district, the maximum square footage of an attached garage shall not exceed nine hundred (900) square feet or thirty-three percent (33%) of the total square footage of the living area of the house, excluding basements, whichever is greater.
Purpose of request:
To request a variance, which if granted would allow the applicant to construct an attached garage that will exceed the maximum allowable square footage by 325 square feet.
