PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that there will be a Public Hearing before the Charter Township of Washington Planning Commission on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Washington Township Board Room located in the Municipal Building at 57900 Van Dyke Washington Township, MI 48094 in which the general public will have an opportunity to comment during the public hearing portion of the meeting.

The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear and receive comments related to a proposed CONDITIONAL REZONING REQUEST made by Prologis, (Larry Longman), 8888 Keystone Crossing Suite 570, Indianapolis, IN 42640.

Ordinance Section: As outlined in the Washington Township Zoning Ordinance Article 7.0 Administration, Appeals and Enforcement, Section 7.12 Ordinance Amendments, including Rezoning and Conditional Rezoning Requests.

Current Zoning: Agricultural Residential (A-1) and Industrial (IND)

Proposed Request: The proposed CONDITIONAL REZONING submitted includes a request to Conditionally Rezone 312.2 (+/-) acres of land on the south side of 32 Mile Road, east of M-53, within Section 01 of the Township. The site is a combination of four (4) parcels; the northwest parcel is currently zoned IND, and the remaining parcels are zoned A-1. The applicant seeks to Conditionally, Rezone all parcels to IRT. The applicant proposes developing the property for use as an Industrial Technology campus, including a Data Center, or any other use permitted under the IRT Zoning District.
