INCONVENIENT DETOUR. The 28 Mile Road Bridge over Stony Creek Lake in Washington Township was closed last week by the Macomb County Department of Roads. No detours have been posted for the road closure which is between Mound and Mount Vernon Roads. The deck on the 50 year-old bridge is being replaced and will be reopened to traffic by Sept. 14 according to the Department of Roads officials. (Photo by Larry Sobczak)
