Eric E. Trott passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the age of 63 after a courageous four year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Proud and loving father of Dayna Rodriguez (Joshua) and Stephen Weil (Autumn). Beloved fiance’ of Heather Guzik. Dear son of Shirley Trott and the late Larry Trott. Brother of Paula Coon, Jeffrey Trott (Louise), Charles Trott (Stephanie) James Trott (Wendy) and the late Terry Trott. Survived by his loving step-mother Lois Trott and predeceased by his adored step-mother Joyce Trott. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
Eric was the owner of Powder Cote II in Mount Clemens for the last 34 years. He loved life, his family and friends and never gave up.
He fought courageously without a single complaint for four years against a diagnosis that usually takes life after only six months and was an example of strength to his family and friends.
From a young age Eric was a water fanatic; he enjoyed boating and deep sea fishing. His hobbies included airplanes, hunting and the occasional trip to the casino.
He will forever be remembered for his unwavering generosity.
Visitation: 3-9 p.m., Thursday, June 14 and 12-8 p.m., Friday, June 15 at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 54880 Van Dyke (at 25 Mile Rd.), Shelby Township.
Funeral: Instate 9-10 a.m., Saturday June 16 until 10 a.m. funeral at Grace Lutheran Church, 7525 32 Mile Road (West of Campgroud Road), Romeo.
Interment: Romeo Cemetery.
