
It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Fillbrook announce her passing after a long fight with heart disease on Friday, June 22, 2018. Marie was born on April 10, 1939 in Roccavivara, Italy, and moved to the United States with her mother, Angela DiBlasio, and her sister, Virgina Iannone. Her father Pasquale DiBlasio was missing in action in World War II. Marie was a 35 year resident of Washington Township where she married Fred Fillbrook, raised her family and worked in the community.
Marie moved to Lynn Haven, Florida where she spent her retirement years playing cards, gardening, knitting and baking for friends and family.
She is survived by her sister, Virgina Iannone, Bellmawr New Jersey, three children, daughter Susan Dickman, husband Thomas, Chicago Illinois, Michael Fillbrook and wife Ruth, Steven Fillbrook and wife Linda Romeo Michigan, five grandchildren: Angel, Brandon, Neal, Jake, Lucille and Lois Jane, and one great-grandson, Ashton Blake. She has four nieces: Annette Wall, Patti Kieran, Linda Moore and Angela Iannone; and four nephews: Tony, Greg, Kirk and Todd Watts.
Services will be held on Roth Muir Funeral Home, 296 S. Main Street, Romeo on Friday, June 29. Please call 586-752-3360 for schedule.
