Dorothy M. Visnick, 92, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018 at the Advantage Living Center in Armada. She was born Jan. 4, 1926 in Howell, the daughter of Howard and Elsie (Ripke) Ebeling. She married George Visnick on June 20, 1942 at the Romeo United Methodist Church.
Dorothy worked at many local retail/restaurants in the area including the Romeo D & C, Dancers, the Harvest Table Restaurant and at the Holtzapple Hatchery in Ray Township.
She is survived by her children: Sandy (Rudy) Mengele of Berlin Township, Kevan (Peitra) Visnick, Robin (Julie) Visnick and daughter-in-law Laurel, all of Ray Township. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband George on July 17, 1987; son, Rod; daughter, LouAnn; and sister Helen Klaus.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29 with visitation at 1 p.m. at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo.
