RETIRING DEPUTY. The Oakland Township Board of Trustees recognized Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Clark at its Oct. 23 meeting. Clark is retiring after 30 years of service, including eight years in Oakland Township. He received a special proclamation from Oakland Township Supervisor Mike Bailey. “During his many years of service, Deputy Robert Clark has served the community with his professionalism and kindness,” he said. Oakland County Sheriff Department Lt. Charles Bernard said that Clark has been a great asset to the township. “Oakland Township thanks him for his service, Oakland County Sheriff’s Office thank him for his service, and have a great retirement,” he said.
