Rachel and Tony Cantanzaro of Washington Township got a delightful honor when their second child was born.
Their daughter Chloe Jean Cantanzaro was the first baby born in Beaumont hospitals for 2019. After a check of other reported births, she is perhaps the first baby in the area born in 2019.
She was born at Beaumont Troy Hospital at 12:13 a.m. on Jan. 1, weighing seven pounds. Both mother and daughter are doing well.
“It was exciting. We definitely didn’t expect it to happen, but it’s all very exciting,” Rachel Cantanzaro said.
