Here are the winners of the 10th Annual Ron Gordon Memorial George Washington Art Contest. Picture left to right are: the third grade winner, Johanna Sandor, the fourth grade winner, Steve Kavungal, and the fifth grade winner, Kayla Sims. The Greater Washington Area Historical Society held an assembly on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Washington Elementary School to announce the winners. The winners all received gift cards from Barnes & Noble. In addition, Maegan Myers was awarded a book on Presidents for being a finalist three years in a row. After the assembly, all 27 finalists went to the Washington Museum for a pizza lunch and tour of the museum.
