Members of the FIRST Robotics Team 1718, The Fighting Pi, pose for a photograph after winning the Gibraltar District Competition held March 1-2. The team won the Entrepreneurship Award and the electrical captain, Paige Drob, won the Dean’s List Award. The team formed an alliance with Team 1023, Bedford Express and Team 6081, Digital Dislocators, to secure the victory. The team is collaboration of students from Macomb Academy of Arts and Science in the Armada Area School District that spend months planning and designing a robot that competes against other schools.
