DAR AWARDS. The John Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution recognized three area high school students as 2019 Good Citizen award at its annual awards luncheon on Saturday, March 16, at Nacho’s Taco House in Imlay City. Picture left to right are this year’s recipients, Paige Abromaitis, Dryden High School; Wesley Hampton, Imlay City High School; McKenzie Finn, Almont High School. Students were selected by teachers and administrators who exhibit the qualities of patriotism as well as dependability, service and leadership. Each student wrote an essay on preserving our American heritage that gave them the opportunity for a scholarship award at the national level. They also received a commemoratory pin, certificate, and other gifts selected just for them by local chapter members. (Submitted photo)
