NOTICE OF PRESENTATION TO THE MACOMB COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS BY THE VILLAGE OF ROMEO OF A PETITION FOR THE TAKING IN OF LANDS PURSUANT TO MCL 74.6

Notice is hereby given that the Village of Romeo shall present to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners on September 26, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as reasonably allowed, at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held on the 9th Floor of the County Administration Building, 1 South Main Street, Mt. Clemens, Michigan 48043, the Second Amended Petition for Annexation approved by the Village of Romeo Board of Trustees at its regular meeting held on July 15, 2019.

The purpose of the presentation of the Second Amended Petition for Annexation to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners is to ask the Board of Commissioners to order that the real property described in the Second Amended Petition located in Ray Township, Macomb County, Michigan, be brought into the Village of Romeo.

At the time of the presentation of the Second Amended Petition for Annexation, all parties interested may appear before the Macomb County Board of Commissioners and be heard on the Petition. Written comments may be submitted to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners at the Macomb County Administration Building, 1 South Main Street, Ninth Floor, Mt. Clemens, Michigan 48043, or by email addressed to bocadmin@macombgov.org, up to the time of the meeting.

St. Clair Street, Romeo, Michigan 48065, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., except for legal holidays.
