OF UNOFFICIAL MINUTES FOR
RCM 9/9/19
Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Shall, Clark, Coenen, Wolak, Ballard, Sledz, Boelke. Also present: Treasurer Adair, Clerk Poulos, Jeff Bahorski, Curtis McBride, Brooke Troy. Michael Faeth, and Kevin Grand.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard/received: An update from Trustee Boelke on the upcoming Sesquicentennial; Water Commissioner Boelke gave a brief update of the status of the two reports he’s been working on for EGLE; Police Commissioner Sledz thanked Taylor Marie Photograph for donating her services to take updated photos of the Police Department. Unanimously approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 8/26/19 and Payment of Bills totaling $76,822.91 as presented. Heard: a report from the Street Administrator and the Sewer Commissioner. Unanimously approved: to rescind the prior motion to approve the proposal from ThermoFisher Scientific in the not to exceed amount of $2,688.93 for a Heratherm Advanced Protocol Oven for the Sewer Plant; to approve the proposal from North central Laboratories in the not to exceed amount of $2,350.00 for a OV-116G Heratherm gravity convection oven; to accept the Audit for Fiscal Year ending March 31, 2019, and to place on file; to accept the bid from Total Asphalt in the not to exceed amount of $10,530.00 for 11,700 feet of crack sealing for Village streets; to accept the bid from ABG North Construction in the not to exceed amount of $4,000.00 for window and door replacement in the pump house located in Memorial Park; to adopt the Notice of Intent Resolution Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 2019 State Revolving Fund Project and to direct the Clerk to publish the notice in the Record. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
