ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Armada WWTP SRF #5645-01 will be received by Village of Armada, at the office of Village of Armada, 74274 Burk Street, Armada, Ml 48005, until10:00 a.m. local time on October 16, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of renovation of the Village of Armada’s WWTP to include, improvements to the headworks, replacement of the Sequencing Batch Reactor system, addition of a tertiary disk filter, HVAC and electrical improvements.
Principal items of work include but are not limited to:
1 LS WWTP Improvements, which will include but not be limited to: Grit System replacement; Relocate Water Supply; Replace Secondary Influent Pumps; Secondary Influent Pump Station (electrical); New SBR System in three Exisitng Basins with Effluent Filtration; SBR Installation; Process Valves and Piping; Replace Storage Tank Mixers; Demo Sludge Building; Replace Auxiliary Generator; Main Building HVAC and Site Grading.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: ROWE Professional Services Company, located at 128 N. Saginaw Street, Lapeer, Ml 48446. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday during regular business hours and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents will not be available for purchase or viewing at the Issuing Office until Friday, September 20, 2019.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at Dodge Data & Analytics; Construction Association of Michigan; Construct Connect; the office of the Village of Armada, 74274 Burk Street PO Box 903, Armada, Ml 48005, on Monday through Friday during regular business hours; and the office of the Engineer, 128 N. Saginaw Street, Lapeer, Ml 48446 on Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
Drawings, Specifications, Contract documents and other available information for submitting a bid must be obtained upon application at the office of ROWE Professional Services Company,upon the payment of $75 per set for prints, or $30 for portable document format (PDF) files which can be obtained after completing the Request Bid Package form found at http://www.rowepsc.com/visitor-resources/planholder. Prints and PDF files may be purchased together for $90. Plans and specifications will not be eÂ-mailed until payment is received. Drawings/Specifications/Contract documents will only be available at the issuing office – no mailing requests will occur for this project. The non-refundable fee shall be by credit card (Visa,Mastercard,American Express or Discover accepted) or in check form and shall be drawn payable to ROWE Professional Services Company. The Engineer’s address is ROWE Professional Services Company,128 N. Saginaw Street,Lapeer,Ml 48446 and the telephone number is (810) 664-9411. Bidding documents must be purchased from the Engineer. Bids submitted on forms obtained anywhere besides the office of ROWE Professional Services Company will not be accepted. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Armada WWTP, 73175 S. Fulton, Armada, MI 48005. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The above-referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the US Enviornmental Proctection Agency’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund. All successful bidders must comply with the federal labor standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act and federal equal opportunity requirements.
Village of Armada, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner.
