SYNOPSIS
OF UNOFFICIAL MINUTES
FOR RCM 10/28/19
Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Ballard, Clark, Coenen, Sledz, Boelke, Shall, and Wolak. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair, Matt Carstens, Jeff Yaroch, Kevin Grand, and Doug Skylis.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard/Received: the September, 2019, F & V, Treasurer and the Code Enforcement Reports for September, 2019: a report from Water Commissioner Boelke; the; an update from Trustee Boelke regarding the Sesquicentennial; the Planning Commission Meeting Minutes of August 5, 2019. Unanimously approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 10/14/19 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $94,697.51 as presented; the applications from the Armada Lions Club for Special Event Permits on: October 31, 2019, for the Halloween Costume Parade, November 22 – 24, 2019, for the Goodfellow Paper Four Corner Fundraiser, November 30, 2019, for the Christmas Tree Set-Up and Tree Decorating, December 6, 2019, for Candy Cane Four Corner Fundraiser, December 7, 2019, for Holly Days and the Lighted Christmas Parade, and December 21, 2019, for Santa Day. Heard an update from Doug Skylis (Rowe Professional Services) regarding the Sewer Plant bids and where the Village stands regarding bonding for these improvements, Street Administrator Ballard, and Water Commissioner Boelke. Discussed the Perpetual Lease between the Township and the Village, which will be brought back to the next RCM after clarification from the Attorney. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 8:23 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
