RCM 11/11/19
Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Shall, Clark, Coenen, Wolak, Ballard, Sledz, and Boelke. Also present: Treasurer Adair, Clerk Poulos, and Doug Skylis
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard/received: written and verbal reports from the Water Commissioner, the Business Liaison, ZBA Liaison, and Trustee Boelke. Unanimously approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 10/28/19 and Payment of Bills totaling $46,809.92 as presented. Heard: Reports from the Street Administrator and the Sewer Commissioner. Unanimously approved: to adopt the Notice of Intent Resolution Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 2019 (State Revolving Fund Project); to adopt the Resolution to correct the deficit fund balance in the DDA Fund and to allow the Clerk and Treasurer to sign the Resolution and forward same to the Michigan Department of Treasury; to tentatively accept the bid from Peerless Midwest in the not to exceed amount of $27,500.00 for well pump #6 refurbishment, subject to a technical review of the expected technical performance and satisfactory receipt of all required documents; to accept the proposal from MGM Dumpsters in the not to exceed amount of $125.00/month for a term of 2 years for a 6-yard dumpster with weekly pick up and to allow the Clerk to sign on behalf of the Village; to close the Village Office at noon on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 7:43 p.m. A Complete text of minutes is available for public inspection at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
