SUMMARY OF RAY TOWNSHIP
AMENDMENT OF MICHIGAN VEHICLE CODE; UNIFORM TRAFFIC CODE ORDINANCE NO. 66-A

On November 19, 2019, the Ray Township Board of Trustees adopted the Amendment of Uniform Traffic Code Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 66-A of the Ray Township Ordinances amendments. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police Department enforce the Michigan Vehicle Code and Uniform Traffic Code within Ray Township boundaries. The Huron Clinton Metro Authority Police Officers enforce the Michigan Vehicle Code and Uniform Traffic Code the boundaries of Wolcott Mill Metro Park and any Metro Park within the Township of Ray. The amendment repeals any and all Ordinance in conflict therewith.

The full text of the Ordinance has been posted in the office of the Ray Township Clerk and on the Ray Township website. The Township Clerk’s office is located at 64255 Wolcott Rd., Ray, MI 48096. The Ray Township website can be accessed at www.raytwp.org. A copy of this Ordinance Amendment may be viewed or purchased at the office of the Ray Township Clerk during regular business hours.

The Ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after this publication.
