This weathered barn stands on Schoenherr Road south of 26 Mile Road near the Wilcox-Warnes Nature Sanctuary in Shelby Township. The 44 acre nature sanctuary, which is across the road from the barn, was donated to the Michigan Nature Association in 1975. With a one mile long hiking trail, it is worth a visit.
