NOTICE OF PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY
TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2020

To the Qualified Electors: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY will be held in the Township of Armada, County of Macomb, State of Michigan on Tuesday, March 20, 2020 at the places of holding the Election in said township as indicated below.

ARMADA TOWNSHIP PRECINCTS:

Precinct 1

Armada Area Schools Administration Building

(living South of Armada Center Road)

74500 Burk Street, Armada MI 48005

Precinct 2

Armada Senior Center (living North of Armada Center Road)

75400 Armada Center, Armada 48005

All precincts are handicap accessible. Voting instructions are available in alternative formats. Contact your Clerk’s office for details. Please note that “photo identification” requirement implemented per Michigan Election Law, requires voter’s appearing at polling locations to present picture identification, or sign an affidavit if they do not have picture identification with them.

THE POLLS of said election will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m. of said day of election.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that for the Presidential Primary you will be voting on nominating candidates for the Office of the President of the United States and the following two proposals as presented and listed below:

• Renewal of Macomb County Art Institute Authority Millage

• Macomb Intermediate School District Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal

Please note that the Township of Armada will be open to the public Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to process absentee ballot requests ONLY. Friday, March 6 is the last day an absent voter ballot can be mailed via First Class mail. On Monday, March 9, 2020 absentee ballots must be voted in person at the clerk’s office up until 4:00 p.m.
