Public hearing was held to hear comments, written or oral, on the amendments to amend the Fence Ordinance of the Village of Romeo Code of Ordinances in its entirety and replace with an updated ordinance. Public hearing was closed at 7:01 p.m.
Regular Meeting was opened at 7:01 p.m. Roll call and Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Approval of minutes – Motion carried. Approval of bills – March bills– Motion carried. Approval of agenda – Motion carried with the deletion of item a. under Unfinished Business and the addition of d. in New Business. Presentations – Vicky Radd from the Macomb County Economic and Development office gave a presentation. Correspondences – None. Public Forum for agenda items – no comments. Officer reports: President – given, Clerk – no report, Treasurer – no report, Trustees – no report, Planning Commission Ex-Ofico –no report. Committee report: No report. Unfinished business – Marihuana Opt In/out Proposal – Motion carried to create an ordinance. Village to City Exploration – Motion carried to create exploration committee. New Business: Fence Ordnance and Permit Fee – Motion carried. Arbor Day Proclamation – Motion carried. Lawn Maintenance Bid – motion to table decision until next board meeting – motion carried. State of Emergency Resolution – Motion carried. Public Comments – One resident comment. Meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
