These crocuses were blooming in a Washington Township garden last week. Typically these are one of the first flowers to appear—it’s a sure sign that spring has arrived and we can look forward to months of various flowering plants now through October. Weather forecasters are expecting March’s mild temperatures to continue at least into the first part of April so expect more of your early flowers to bloom. (Photo by Mike Nicley)
