Judging by these photos during rush hour on Friday of downtown Romeo, upper photo above, and downtown Armada, lower photo above, most residents are heeding Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s order to stay home unless you are engaging in an essential business activity or have an essential job during the COVID-19 Pandemic. In the photo on the right, a sign in front of the Ray Township Hall reminds residents that no burning is permitted in the state this spring during the emergency. The no burning order lessens the chance that firefighters will called out to put out a fire that got out of control or sparked a wildfire. (Photos by Larry Sobczak)
