A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 7:40 PM via video conference GoToMeeting.
PRESENT: Michael Bailey, Supervisor; Karen Reilly, Clerk; Jeanne Langlois, Treasurer; Robin Buxar, Trustee; Frank Ferriolo, Trustee; John Giannangeli, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To remove Item #6 Class C Liquor License Request from the Consent Agenda.
2. To move Item #3 Lifepak Fire Lease from the Consent Agenda to Item #1 under Pending Business.
3. To approve the agenda as amended.
4. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
5. To purchase 4 Lifepaks 15V4 monitor/defibrillators and equipment that goes along with them as outlined in lease # 2110101731 for a total amount of $130,843.88.
6. To approve the Artemis Villa Concept PUD 38-unit site condominium based upon the conditions as set forth and summarized by the Oakland Township Planning Commission in its January 7, 2020, meeting; all conditions and comments as contained in the December 16, 2019 review by the Township Engineer, PEA; the comments and conditions set forth in the December 20, 2019 and April 3, 2020, review by the Township Planner, Carlisle Wortman; at a time and date to be determined by the Township the donation of the proposed 5.28 acre parcel to the Township for public use without further zoning restriction nor subject to any PUD requirement; and any further condition requirement as set forth in the Township’s Zoning Ordinance, Section 16-524, including the applicant obtaining final site plan approval within one year.
7. To accept for first reading the request by Salvatore Cottone to amend Zoning Ordinance No.16 for the purpose of amending the Zoning Map.
8. To approve the site plan for Consumers Energy Dutton Road Valve Site, subject to the applicant completing the site plan and building plan review process, and that the applicant agrees to abide by and comply with all pertinent codes, ordinances and standards of Oakland Township, Oakland County and the State of Michigan. This approval is further conditioned upon the applicant installing and maintaining the required safety path.
9. To reinstate the April 28th Board of Trustees meeting.
10. To adjourn the meeting at 8:52 PM.
