CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF OAKLAND – PLANNING COMMISSION – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

The Charter Township of Oakland Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments for an ordinance to amend Ordinance 16, the Charter Township of Oakland Zoning Ordinance. Article II Definitions to add Livestock Facilities, Primarily Residential, Parallel Plans; Article III General Regulations to amend language regarding farm operators, livestock facilities, parallel plans; Article IV District Standards to correct typographical errors; Article V Special Land Use to correct typographical errors; Article VI Site Plan Review to correct typographical errors; Article VII Signs to clarify double sided signs; and any other technical corrections or revisions. The public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on June 2, 2020, at the Oakland Township Hall 4393 Collins Road, Rochester, Michigan 48306. Any interested person may appear and comment in person or by agent or attorney upon a scheduled agenda item during the public hearing to be held at the date, time and location above. Written comments may be submitted to the Charter Township of Oakland at the address above prior to the scheduled Public Hearing date. Documents pertaining to any request on the agenda are available for review during normal business hours at the Oakland Township office or at the hearing.
