A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 7:00 PM via video conference GoToMeeting.
PRESENT: Michael Bailey, Supervisor; Karen Reilly, Clerk; Jeanne Langlois, Treasurer; Robin Buxar, Trustee; Frank Ferriolo, Trustee; John Giannangeli, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To approve the Resolution 20-12 in support of the MNRTF development grant for accessible pathways at Cranberry Lake Farm Historic District.
4. To accept the second reading and approve the rezoning for Salvatore Cottone to amend Zoning Ordinance No.16 for the purpose of amending the Zoning Map as indicated in the packet.
5. For the Oakland Township Board of Trustees to approve the Recommended Hiring of Joshua Hazelton and Timothy Haynes as soon as the positions are formally accepted by the applicants. In accordance with the Labor Agreement between The Charter Township of Oakland and the Oakland Township Fire Fighters Union International Association of Fire Fighters local 4918.
6. To commit $128,000 to the gravel road County program for the 2020 year.
7. To approve the Resolution to designate Collins Road from Orion Road to Beatrice Drive as a Business District under MCL 257.627 and request the Road Commission for Oakland County to reduce the speed limit therein to 25 mph.
8. To adjourn the meeting at 8:19 PM.
