There are iconic landmarks in our communities that residents use to express their feelings and sentiments about current issues.
Residents in Armada were dismayed last week to find that someone had smashed several inches (or decades) worth of the old graffiti paint off the boulder in Memorial Park. The next day someone had cleaned up the mess and repainted it with “love and peace” which seems to reflect the thoughts of a new generation that has taken to the streets to protest against police brutality.
