A special meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 12:13 PM via video conference GoToMeeting.
PRESENT: Michael Bailey, Supervisor; Karen Reilly, Clerk; Robin Buxar, Trustee; Frank Ferriolo, Trustee; John Giannangeli, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee
ABSENT: Jeanne Langlois, Treasurer
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as presented.
2. To approve going into closed session at 12:18 PM for the purpose of discussing a
legal opinion regarding the purchase of property.
3. To approve a letter of intent between Six Rivers Land Conservancy and the Charter Township of Oakland as modified for the acquisition of property and authorize the Township Supervisor to sign said letter upon receipt of an extended executed original from Six Rivers and further to approve the payment of $10,000.00 to Six Rivers from the Land Preservation Fund according to the terms and timing set forth in the letter of intent.
4. To adjourn the meeting at 1:23 PM.
