Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on amendments to Section 2.21 of the zoning ordinance to permit up to 25% of the permitted square footage of accessory buildings to be used as storage for a home occupation, and Section 31.00 to clarify the wording of the definition of a home occupation.
A complete copy of the application for special land use may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on September 9, 2020.
This notice is published pursuant to the requirements of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110 of 2006, as amended.
