A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 7:00 PM via video conference GoToMeeting.
PRESENT: Michael Bailey, Supervisor; Karen Reilly, Clerk; Jeanne Langlois, Treasurer; Robin Buxar, Trustee; Frank Ferriolo, Trustee; John Giannangeli, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as amended.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To table the approval of the budget resolution for OPC until the next meeting.
4. To approve the Resolution to approve the Older Persons’ Commission’s Fiscal Year 2021 Budget as presented and dated August 11, 2020.
5. To recommend the T1 option, which is the glass fused to steel, for the structure in the forest green color, the C1 option for the pump station, which is the vinyl siding, the G1 option for the generator to be outdoors, the F1 for the site fencing, which is the black vinyl coated chain link fence.
6. To approve the memorandum of understanding with Blossom Ridge LLC and its entities with any minor modifications as recommended by the Township attorney and approved by the Township Manager and authorize the Supervisor and Clerk to execute the same.
7. To approve the lease agreement with Blossom Springs LLC with any minor modifications as recommended by the Township attorney and approved by the Township Manager and authorize the Supervisor and Clerk to execute the same.
8. To approve the construction management contract with Moceri Custom Homes LLC with any minor modifications recommended by the Township attorney and approved by the Township Supervisor and authorize the Township Supervisor and Clerk to certify and file same.
9. To approve the Resolution to Refuse Ownership or Operational Responsibility for a Private Owned Water Facility and authorize the Township Clerk to certify and file same.
10. To approve Resolution 20-21 regarding the development of property through the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant TF19-0081 and Parks and Recreation Millage Funds.
11. To approve Resolution 20-20 regarding the development of property through the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant TF19-0074 and Parks and Recreation Millage Funds.
12. To approve the 2020 millage rates as follows:

13. To approve the purchase of a 2021 Chevy Tahoe 4wd truck from Berger Chevrolet Inc under the MIDEAL plan for the total cost of $42,636.00. From account 206.901.981.338 as budgeted in the 2020-2021 budget.
14. To adjourn the meeting at 9:40 PM.
