A regular meeting of the Charter Township of Oakland Board of Trustees was called to order on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 5:00 PM via video conference GoToMeeting.
PRESENT: Michael Bailey, Supervisor; Karen Reilly, Clerk; Jeanne Langlois, Treasurer; Robin Buxar, Trustee; Frank Ferriolo, Trustee; John Giannangeli, Trustee; Lana Mangiapane, Trustee
ABSENT: None
THE FOLLOWING MOTIONS WERE MADE AND PASSED:
1. To approve the agenda as amended.
2. To approve the Consent Agenda as read.
3. To approve the amended Covenant for Maintenance, Repair and Replacement of
Private Roads and Storm Drainage Facilities for Blossom Village LLC.
4. To direct the Supervisor to sign on behalf of the Township the permanent placement of the SO2 tube permanent placement at Blossom Ridge, Blossom Village, Blossom Creek and Blossom Springs LLC’s request dated 10/08/2020.
5. To approve the Resolution 20-27 to approve amendment to Oakland County Sheriff’s 2019-2021 Law Enforcement Services Agreement for the Public Safety and Public Health Payroll Reimbursement Program or Other CARES Act Grant Funding.
6. To approve the site plan for Parks & Recreation Commission – Paint Creek Trailhead, subject to the applicant completing the site plan and building plan review process, and that the applicant agrees to abide by and comply with all pertinent codes, ordinances and standards of Oakland Township, Oakland County and the State of Michigan.
7. To move and disclaim any future responsibility for privately owned water sewage system which, if constructed, would serve the Stoney Creek development and authorize the Township Supervisor to execute the letter disclaiming any future responsibility for the same. (Resolution 20-28)
8. To approve the request for a variance to the land division width requirement, as the proposal would not alter the character of the area, subject to the following conditions: 1) That no further divisions of either of the two parcels shall be permitted; 2) That the petitioner agrees to abide by and comply with all pertinent codes, ordinances and standards of Oakland Township, Oakland County and the State of Michigan for the Land Division Variance for Parcel 10-20-351-001.
9. To approve the extension for the current Concessionaire Agreement for a term of one year.
10. To approve Resolution 20-29 to Support Legislation to Reduce the Speed Limit on Unimproved Roads.
11. To approve the 1st reading of the Ordinance of Attempt to Commit Crime.
12. To approve the 1st reading of the Charter Township of Oakland Causing a Police Response Ordinance and direct the Township Clerk to publish said Ordinance in accordance with State Law and hereby set 2nd reading of said Ordinance at the November 10, 2020 regular Board meeting.
13. To adjourn the meeting at 6:31 PM.
