Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Clark, Ballard, Shall, Sledz, Wolak, and Boelke. Absent: Coenen. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair, Jeffery Bahorski, and Mark Ezzo.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as amended, added Approval of Proposal from AIS Construction Equipment as New Business Agenda Item D. Heard/Received: F & V’s Monthly Operating Report for September 2020, Planning Commission Meeting Minutes for 9-9-20 and 10-5-20; and Street Administrator Ballard informed Council that he will be postponing the Sidewalk Project until the Spring. Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 10/26/20 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $32,843.54 as presented. Unanimously Approved: In accordance with Village Code Section 7-2(c)(vii) to waive the requirement of a bid or RFP and approve a professional service agreement between the Village of Armada and HydroCorp, Inc. for non-residential cross connection inspections at a cost of $12,528.00 and authorize the Water Commissioner to sign the agreement on behalf of the Village, to accept the bid from Metro Sewer Cleaners in the amount of $7,995.00 for the clearing of 200 Village catch basins and to authorize the Street Administrator to sign all documents; to close the Village Office on Wednesday, November 25, 2020; in accordance with Village Code Section 7-2(c)(vii) to waive the requirement of a bid or RFP and approve an estimate from AIS Construction Equipment for necessary repairs to the backhoe at a cost of $14,106.13 and authorize the DPW Supervisor to sign the agreement on behalf of the Village. A brief update from the Sewer Commissioner and an update from Water Commissioner.
