
Anna Cynthia Gleason (nee Elias), 73, of Washington Township, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020. She was born Jan. 27, 1947.
Anna was born and raised in East Detroit.  After marrying her husband John they raised their family in Sterling Heights. Anna was involved with St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Funeral Luncheon Coordinator at St. Ephrem Church and an active donor of Friends of Foster Kids. Her biggest joy in life were her grandchildren and being Keith Urban’s number one fan. She lived for bingo and dancing. She had two simple rules in life: 1.) Forgive them for they know not what they do; 2.) Always stay humble and kind.
She is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Aldo Jr.) Bartolomeo and Deanna (Robert) Lorincz; grandchildren, Allyssa (Michele) Chirco, Dominico Bartolomeo, Antonio Bartolomeo, Madison Lorincz and Dario Bartolomeo; brother, Monte Elias; and great-granddaughter, Marianna Bea.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gleason, and brother, John Elias.
A funeral mass was held Saturday, Jan. 2 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, Romeo.
Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
