NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Review of the Township of Bruce, County of Macomb, will be in session at the Bruce Township Hall, at 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, Michigan on the following dates:
Monday, March 8, 2021 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday, March 9, 2021 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Appeals will be heard by appointment. Please call (586) 752-4585, ext 200 to schedule an appointment.
The township will post the information confirming whether the March BOR will meet in person on its notice board and the township’s website.
Electronic remote access, if needed, in accordance with Michigan law, will be implemented in response to COVID-19. Social distancing requirements and limitations on the number of individuals in a meeting hall will be observed. Masks are required.
By board resolution, taxpayers are able to protest by letter, (including email), sent to 223 E. Gates, Romeo MI 48065 or assessing@brucetwp.org, provided protest is received before March 9th, 2021 at 5 p.m.
The properties in Bruce Township will be subject to the following Tentative State Equalization Ratios and Factors as provided by the Macomb County Equalization Department:

In addition, the Board of Review will meet on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 3:00 pm for an Organizational Meeting to prepare for and discuss the procedures for the public meetings beginning March 8, 2021 including but not limited to Selection of Chairperson and Secretary along with receiving the 2021 Assessment Roll from the Assessor.
