Bonnie Lee Sasseen, 64, of Armada Township, passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021. She was born Feb. 13, 1956 in Mount Clemens, the daughter of Irvin and Virginia (Rojeski) Steinbrink.
Bonnie retired from Ford Motor Company at its Proving Grounds in Romeo where she worked as a test driver for over 20 years. Upon retirement, she enjoyed gardening around her house (she was well known for her green thumb), loved to decorate her house, sewing and playing with her antique John Deere tractors and drive her old truck around. She was an avid bird watcher, especially her oriole’s that she enjoyed feeding and watching.
She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan and Adam; siblings, Barb (Roger) Marshall of Washington Township, Patty (John) Fryer of Washington Township, Tom (Cathy) Steinbrink of Macomb Township, Rodger (Mendy) Steinbrink of West Branch, Ginger (David) Steinbrink of Armada and Susan (Bubba Dan) Coenen of Columbus. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by siblings Bob, Cassandra, Shirley and one nephew Joshua Parrott.
Arrangements were handled by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo.
