Pres. Wolak called meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Council members present at roll call: Ballard, Sledz, Wolak, Coenen, Clark, and Boelke. Absent: Shall. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair and Kevin Grand.
COUNCIL ACTION: Unanimously approved Agenda as presented. Heard and/or received the Treasurer, Code Enforcement, and F & V Reports for January, 2021. Unanimously Approved the Consent Agenda as presented: RCM Minutes of 2/8/21 approved as presented; Payment of Bills totaling $666,026.92 as presented. Heard reports from the Sewer and Water Commissioners. Unanimously approved: to reconsider the motion approved at the February 8, 2021, regular meeting adopting the Resolution Calling Annual Public Hearing on Special Assessment Roll for Armada Village Police Special Assessment District on March 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.; to amend the motion approved at the February 8, 2021 regular meeting adopting the Resolution Calling Annual Public Hearing on Special Assessment Roll for Armada Village Police Special Assessment District by changing the date of the public hearing from March 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to March 8, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.; President Wolak called the Clerk to have a roll call vote on the motion to adopt the Resolution Calling annual Public Hearing on Special Assessment Roll, as amended to reflect the March 8, 2021 Public Hearing date; to set the Public Hearing date for approval of the 2021/2022 Fiscal Year Budget for March 22, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.; to set a public hearing on the proposed ordinance amending Title 1, Chapter 8, Section 8-1 of the Village Code of Ordinances to change the compensation for the Village President and Trustees for Monday, March 22, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. and authorize the Armada Clerk to publish notice of the public hearing in the Record; to comply with the President’s recommendation to appoint Sam Boelke to the Planning Commission to a term ending November 19, 2022, subject to the appointee meeting the qualifications set forth in Chapter II of the General Law Village Act; to enter into Executive Session at 7:31 p.m. after a 5 minute recess.
