Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 beginning at 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065. The township may hold this meeting remotely via Zoom if necessary, and notice of this meeting and how to access it will be posted if this is the case.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on an amendment to Section 3.8 of the zoning ordinance reducing the rear-to-rear internal setback standard for multiple-family buildings in the RM-1 and RM-2 districts from 199 feet to 100 feet.
A complete copy of the application for special land use may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on April 7, 2021.
